Jewellery box made from Burr Oak and Walnut. It has four layers each of which consisting of different size compartments to accommodate different size jewellery from large earrings to watches and necklaces. The three removable trays are lined with black wool felt and incorporate a handle on each side to aid their removal. Brass ‘Stop Hinges’ have been used which enable the lid to stay open in an upright position and a brass lock fitted to keep jewellery secure. The box sits on four turned discus shaped feet. The buyer has personalised their box with a Bronze Plaque making it a very special gift.
