Stage 1
Initial Contact: Customer approaches ‘Woodtoinspire.com’
Stage 6
Delivery: ‘Woodtoinspire.com’ deliver the furniture and take full and final payment.
Stage 5
Build: I will start to build your furniture on receipt of a 25% deposit and an agreed design.
Stage 4
Cooling off period: The customer is given time to consider the design and if they wish to place an order.
Stage 3
Design:  ‘Woodtoinspire.com’ produce a free computer image of the proposed design
Stage 2
Requirements: The customer and Woodtoinspire.com discuss requirements and options
Computer images created to give the customer an idea of what the furniture will look like on completion.
Large logs are sliced up before being seasoned. When the wood is dry it can be used for furniture making.
Individual components are made using hand tools such as the plane and the mitre saw.

Skilful use of a cabinet scraper (shown left) provides a smooth surface for polishing.
